Canesten Cream contains the active substance clotrimazole, which has a broad spectrum of antifungal activity, allowing for the effective elimination of a large number of fungi responsible for various diseases. Canesten Cream is used in the treatment of fungal skin infections caused by dermatophytes, namely interdigital mycoses on the hands and feet (e.g., tinea manuum, tinea pedum known as "athlete's foot"), pityriasis versicolor (more or less round spots, with hypopigmentation or hyperpigmentation, most often on the chest or back, which may flake slightly) and diaper dermatitis.
